NICO PANAGIO is a South African actor, presenter and producer of Greek descent. He has been in the entertainment industry for over two decades and starred in various theatre productions, TV dramas and big-screen feature films. Nico has also been hosting the popular reality show Survivor SA, since 2009.

Since he has a passion for the safety of children, he has acted as voluntary Chairman of the child recovery organisation Missing Children SA, for over a decade now. He also volunteers as chairman of My Father’s House community kitchen in Simonstown – an initiative which provides a hearty meal for up to a thousand destitute children and adults daily.

An avid outdoor enthusiast, Nico is most at home in the mountains, spending his free time adventuring with his family. Apart from his passions for trail running, surfing and kayaking he is also a Cape Epic finisher, a coffee aficionado, lover of chocolate and drinker of fine red wine. He is married to his best friend Christi, has 2 daughters and is a passionate follower of Jesus Christ.
