Rofhiwa Madzena is an award-winning journalist who has worked in radio as a reporter and then as an on-air producer for news and current affairs.

She worked as a reporter and anchor at CNBC Africa. Prior to that also wrote for Forbes Woman Africa and Forbes Africa before joining eNCA as a business anchor and producer in 2018.

As a seasoned business journalist, Rofhiwa enjoys telling stories that zone in on developmental and international economics as well as entrepreneurship as a tool to drive inclusive economic growth.

Rofhiwa recently hosted the Standard Bank BizConnect series which focused on entrepreneurship in South Africa. She also hosted the Standard Bank ‘Moments that Matter’ event which zoned in on business relationships between bankers and business owners.

Rofhiwa also recently hosted the launch of the PayShap payment solution, which is poised to revolutionise banking.

Further, she hosted the ‘JSE Investment Challenge Online’ show. This Investment Challenge is a game that aims to teach South African learners and students about investing on the JSE and the larger role that such investment plays in the country’s economy.
